Areas of Interest
The Dammann Fund, Inc. is committed to using its resources for the
support of qualified charitable organizations
operating programs in New York City,
Southwestern Connecticut and Charlottesville,
VA with a focus in any one or more
of two areas:
• Mental Health:
Programs that foster living or independent living for the mentally
ill.
• Teen Parenthood:
Programs that enable development of parenting
skills in young parents.
Grants are not made to individuals
and they are not made for capital or annual
campaigns, endowments, loans, conferences
or travel.
Grant recipients are
eligible to receive funding for a single
program for up to three consecutive years.

The Application
Process
A sample Application Form
and an application Checklist are attached.
Completed application packages
must be delivered to The Dammann Fund offices
and postmarked no later than June 30th.
Applicants are encourged, although not required,
to submit simultaneously, by e-mail, the
"project description/funding request"
portion of their application package. Final
decisions are made in the fall and checks
are mailed to successful applicants no later
than December 1st. During the application
review process, a site visit may be requested
by one or more Members or Directors of The
Dammann Fund.
About The Dammann
Fund, Inc.
The Dammann Fund, Inc. was
founded in 1946 by Milton Dammann. When
Milton Dammann died in 1962, leadership
passed to his son, Richard Dammann. Richard
Dammann died in 1988. Presently, the Board
of Directors is comprised of lineal descendants
of Milton and Richard Dammann.
